iNET Interactive Acquired The Web Hosting Industry Review

iNET Interactive, the world's large online publication company is about to announce very soon the acquisition of another leading web hosting media website - The Web Hosting Industry Review. The Web Hosting Topics hosting industry blog have heard that iNet has sent email to its partners and customers to notify them about the acquisition.

"We are writing to announce some exciting news, which we want to share with you before we officially announce it publicly", says the iNet's email to its customers and partners. "iNET Interactive has acquired The Web Host Industry Review. As you probably know, we are a media company that operates a large portfolio of online properties, including Web Hosting Talk and the hosting industry conference HostingCon", adds iNet in its email message.

The emails message announces that TheWHIR will join to Web Hosting Talk and HostingCon to form media properties serving different areas of the web hosting industry under the iNET Interactive as a publishing company. iNet reveals that TheWHIR will continue to be a leading editorial content source that covers the business aspects of the web hosting industry. It is supposed to complement Web Hosting Talk's leading position as a "user-generated content addressing primarily the technical aspects of the industry".

TheWHIR, which has kicked off regional networking events a few years ago has been defined from iNet Interactive as "perfect year-round complement" to the hosting industry's world's premier conference - HostingCon.

iNet Interactive interactive also says that The WHIR's Editorial staff has already joined iNET Interactive and "will remain in their current roles", while the WHIR's marketing and sale was integrated into the iNET Interactive sales operations. iNet plans to put the advertisers accounts on both media into a single account management. The publishing company will keep the print TheWHIR magazine.
